Summary:
Nebula International Corporation seeks a full-time Mechanical Engineer in Troy, Michigan to design and support automotive battery testing equipment. Drafting detailed instructions, drawings, and specifications using CATIA includes comprehensive guides for fabricating, assembling, maintaining, and using automotive battery testing equipment with Battery Management Systems (BMS). These documents ensure precision and optimal functionality by accurately reflecting intricate equipment and BMS details. Utilizing Linux System Programming, the team analyzes client requirements and technical data to tailor robust control solutions for battery systems, including BMS customization, aligning with specific operational needs. With Vector CANoe and CANape, system analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting are performed to ensure the battery testing equipment and BMS adhere to industry standards, optimizing system performance by identifying and addressing discrepancies effectively. Gather technical and operational information through direct client interactions, ensuring project alignment by effectively communicating with supervisors, peers, and clients about objectives, including BMS specifications. Monitoring equipment and processes with diagnostic tools detects issues, prompting scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting for both testing equipment and BMS, optimizing resource utilization. Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to maintain detailed records of technical data and BMS configurations, crucial for tracking project progress and achieving goals. Building cooperative relationships with clients and team members. Complex technical information, including BMS functions and overall system operations, is translated to foster trust and ensure client satisfaction. Identify core principles, providing a foundation for expert consultation on equipment operation and BMS design and innovative solutions and improvements. Technical expertise supports the entire sales and service lifecycle, enriching client experiences by detailing each phase, from BMS selection to integration. In the pre-sales phase, technical consultants explain BMS benefits and applications, assisting the sales team with presentations and overseeing equipment and BMS installation, commissioning, and training.
